How Do You Design a Game?
i've been obsessed with this question my tire life. As a kid, i learned ta code just so i could make games. And as a founder, i have gone deep into the principles of game design. To create games, we need to draw upon the art and science of psychology, mathematics, story telling and interaction design. So it's superhuman. We've distilled this down to five key factors, goals, emotions, controls, toys and flow. Ok, so what? We just take em one at a time. How do you think about goals from a game design perspective? And then how did you translate that thinking into the superhuman product?
