A group of computer scientists ran experiments on line, using text base chats to replicate text messaging. They recruited people on line and then had them use an ap like platform called dialogue den. In half of the groups that got the right answer, no one had the right answer before the group discus. The latest research suggests we will need much more of the latter if we hope to create a new, modern, functioning marketplace of ideas.
