Excessive cardio is not as a whole to little calorie intake at all, especially with the skinny fat physique. Too much too little protein provides the raw material to build and maintain your muscle from a dietary perspective. If you're not getting hardly any protein, it's going to be nearly impossible to build and preserve muscle strength in relation to your overall health or aesthetic.
