Diabetic Diabetics - Is There a Difference Between a Low Carof Approach and the Standard American Diet?

I think as we get more and more information on what would be considered like fringed dietary approaches, while these do tend to be a little more impactful for certain things. And then yet, you have to starting points that i think are maybe a little more clear than just here's the standard american diet... I don't think there's anything more important when somebody's starting a process like this. It's just about having someone who's a cheer leader there to support you through it.

Ye, no mixed sense. And i think you're right. I think tore as we get more and more information on what would be considered like fringed dietary approaches, if we do end up finding, while these do tend to be a little more impactful for certain things. And then yet, you have to starting points that i think are maybe a little more clear than just, here's the standard american diet, the recommendations, and i start here, versus, let's explore your specific circumstance and then start with the recommendations of starting points and things like that. I i quite like that approach. And and then you add in all sorts of other things, like what you mentioned with, i like essential coaching or cementership within it, like ahin ha verdas done this quite well. Where is, we're going to take a low carof approach with these folks, most specifically type to diabetics. And we're going to start with this, but we're going to help you. We're going to support you along the way, so that we can make something that would maybe not be as conducive to stumbling upon with our food environment, to something that is manageable for you to nab gate from the early days, verses having too much trial and error occurring and mistakes being made, and then account of the failure leading to giving up, more or less. Ye,
Speaker 1
you've hit on two really important things there. I think one is, ah, has to do with support, and the other with the confidence you have in the patient or person. So with respect to the support, i i don't think that there's anything more important when somebody's starting a process like this. It's just about having someone who's a cheer leader there to support you through it. I mean, some people are disciplined enough to say, i'm just going to do this, and i'm going to go, you know, cold tirkey, cut out all sugar and process foods, and despite the food environment, i'm going to succeed. That's a very small minority of people, especially when you live in a social environment, when you're constantly having food pushed at you. So you're in an appointment with your doctor, maybe you're in a club house room and you maki, you make a resolution to say, cut out sugar.
