Strengthening the Hamstrings in a Gym Setting?

Travis: What do you think would be a good way to picture like some stereotypical gym exercise and strengthening the hamstrings across the hip? Travis is something like a certain types of dead lifts at the gym would also be good for strengthening the hamstring through hip extension.
