The Effect of Multiple Muscles on Strength

We tend to equate strength with total weight moved even if it's a result of multiple muscles working at the same time. A muscle gets stronger whether you're moving a lot of weight or not. The guy who has less strength capacity is working harder than the guy who has more strength capacity. So when you're doing a power lift, that's the thing we have to focus on: how much each muscle is getting.
