Is Fasting for Women Athletes Sustainable?
Sally Kohn: There's new research emerging about women athletes and fasting. How do you recommend fasting for someone like that? Kohn: I don't typically recommend a great deal of fasting for lean fit women. She says if we aren't eating enough, our body will break down muscle as a fuel source. The real answer needs to be where are you in life stage?, she said.
