There's only a few hundred people working on this really, who like focused on existential risk concerns. The best of some I've seen are something like there's roughly a hundred people professionally working on things related to AI governance. There's also definitely more than 400 people doing relevant work. But it matters whether you're focused on the existential risk thing that makes some difference to what types of actions you focus on.
