How to Be a Successful Navy SEAL
I was the only 36 African American to become a Navy SEAL. I realized why a lot of blacks are not in special operations. You sink. I sink like a motherfucker. So I put the same work ethic in as I put into my studies and learned how to swim. There's about 200 guys in my class. One black guy being me. And I passed a swim test, passed a running to push up all that stuff. For six weeks, I didn't sleep. I was just terrified to go back to that water, but I didn't want to quit. When things got hard, I bounced out.
