Lactate and Hypertrophy

Lactate is actually shuttled around the body, whether it's shuttled between muscle fibers of the same muscle or different muscles of the body. And that really suggests that we're getting a lactate stimulus. But if lactate is a stimulus, then we're not just getting a stimulus from lactate producing muscle fibers, but also potentially getting a stimulus in lactate consuming muscle fibers. That indicates we'd be getting non kind of local hypertrophy would be producing maybe sort of lactate in the quadriceps and maybe growing the hamstrings. In fact, hypertrophy is super super local.
