Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension - Is There a High Index of Suspect?

Pulmonary material haper tension is an uncommon disease, and a high index of suspicion is required for diagnosis. In fact, in revealed just over 20 percent had a delay of over two years for diagnosis. You see this most commonly in patients who are young, who have concomitant respiratory disorders such as asthma. That may deflect from a more formal pulmonary hypretension work up or a higher suspicion for pulmonary arterial hypertension.
