The Importance of Preferences in Evolution
It seems like there is this intuitive question separate from whether it'll be an ideal future which is just, will it kind of suck or will it just seem fine. It seems like evolution creates things that have preferences that are often satisfied in the environment they're adapted to. Or at least one consideration is like how good is evolution been so far. And then another one, which I think that this is not original to me, but there's this question of like what is your account of wellbeing.
