Is There an Inherent Understanding That Collaborates With Audio?

Druan: We touch every system in the game. You have to be able to collaborate, or good members of a team. It's more like a clock than a living organism and you really want to know how to avoid gumming up the works over here. i'm not just slathering music up against moving images, but i'm actually kind of snaking into this almost living organism that has a lot of moving parts. I get asked a fair amount by younger composers who are just coming out of school, or just maybe shifting from a different career. And they say, i'm not really a gamer. Do i really need to be or to find work in games?
