I joined Google at the very beginning of 2001 when AdWords was 500 advertising beta. The technology to do this obviously had sort of already existed, which was wonderful. But we had also moved as a marketplace to be so much more focused on effectiveness. So it really was sort of a stroke of genius and luck at the same time that those things came together by the time for Instagram. We were coming out at Instagram with a brand new platform and we didn't know how it was going to work. That was pretty photos.
