The Timing of a Pivot

The timing of a pivot, usually it happens too late. So for example, if we spent more time on the enterprise search tool, we would have been able to make it a big business. We had a road map. But then we found a buyer in a company who would want to buy kind of that solution to the new problem as people were using the existing product. It wasn't a pivot per se, where you could say, hay, slack pivoted. You could say, slack changed directions and they hopped because they just didn't want to build a game any more.
