The parents of a blind man are interrogated by the Jewish authorities. They say he's a grown up. He can answer for himself. But then John explains why the parents are reluctant to say that Jesus could have healed him. And it's because the Jews had decided that anyone who confessed Jesus to be the Messiah would be kicked out of a synagogue.
