Dr. Vulture: Much of your work seems to relate to these sort of growth pathways of MTOR and IGF-1, particularly this idea of through at least the midlife having a low protein consumption. And then once you get to 65, 70, there might be some benefit in slightly increasing that protein. He says rapamycin has been demonstrated to extend the lifespan of mice. So it seems like a blocking rapamycin, especially if you started in middle age, works better than anything we've ever seen.
