You were only able to say that this ethical position is inconsistent with other ethical positions most people hold, so it was a matter of consistency rather than making a moral principle. Now your metarathical position has shifted within the last decade I would say and its influenced by Derek Parford or Tom Nagel who are taking the view that well reason isn't just limited to what we desire. There are things that you can argue are rationally self-evident," he says.
