The critic can come in overt or covert forms. Overt means obvious, on the surface, means it's direct and you can see it. But there's also covert ways that our critic operates. We tend to explain away any positive feedback we get,. Any compliments, or even our own accomplishments. The question is, what is this critic doing? Why do we have this part that is criticizing us?
