The Evolution of the CCP's Literacy Programs in the North Western World
CCP's goal of its literacy program was mainly to mobilize the villagers' national consciousness for support of the war. But this goal, as you demonstrated, largely failed. And consequently, the CCP made constant adjustments in following years. The Gomindan probably cannot achieve its goal to cultivate literary citizens or patriotic citizens, it could actually use this program as a means to establish a more close connections with those literary elites. Right? This is fascinating.
