"I coached my first woman athlete in 1983. She went to the national championships lifting and up until 2018, I would say I maybe coached 1500 female athletes," he says. "How many women's soccer teams do you know of where half of the girls don't have a scar on their knee? In fact, a local soccer team here at local high school, they had four ACLs in the first three weeks."
