Pre Hospital Lactate Levels - What Are Your Thoughts?

Multiple studies have shown that initial lactate levels are significantly higher in non survivors than they were when compared to survivors. So things like injury type treatments given unseen, and loads of probably other unmeasured confounders or factors were very, very likely to play an important role as well. In iti found the elevated laxate levels to be 96 per sent sensitive and 38 % specific for mesenteric eschema.
