The Revolution of Shorts
In the late 70s and early 80s, men wore baggy shorts that were very tight. "The idea of wearing shorts full time was very appealing to me," he says. He made 300 pairs in 1980 but couldn't get them into big department stores so set up a lemonade stand at a mall near his Calgary home. The store would make like $1,000 a day selling the shorts while he worked for an oil company.
