How to Prescribe Run Walks

I don't think all runners need to do it at all because you probably get a bit more out of just running. It might be as effective to do 10 minutes run one minute walk as just straight running or pretty close anyway. I have one athlete right now, for example, who he's coming back from a surgery six months ago,. Just started working with him and we do a lot of run walks, but that's not long runs. That's every single run. So yeah, for some runners, I can see that being really useful.
