Keeping a Positive Thought Pattern in the Day

There are a couple of strategies for introducing positive thought patterns into the day that actually train our mind to look out for the positive things around us. Keeping an accomplishments list in general is helpful, but also recalling a few things that you're grateful for at the end of the day. It can be hard to remember what was good from a day when you just want to get to sleep. But research from Sean Acor, who wrote a great book called The Happiness Advantage, he found that doing this for 21 days, it trains our brain into a pattern of looking for the good in the world around us.
