The Trends in the Medical Legal World

Every state in Australia now has legislation where voluntary assisted dying is either lawful or will be lawful. But everywhere else in Australia it's a new area for doctors to have to navigate and traverse. I know for many doctors the idea of voluntary assisted Dying is anathema to their ideas of what it means to be a doctor. Some feel very strongly that it's not something that they want to be involved in. So there's really lots of situations where there is the potential for difficult patient interactions. Knowing how to manage those of course is key.
