When your mind gets very lost in thought or emotion, it's because a lot of action is being planned and simulated. At such a time, it can help the troops to stand down by saying inwardly, on an out breath, no action ted right now. So let's try this new phrase for a moment. Just as you are sitting here, just as you are closing your eyes, if that feels comfortable, and stepping inside as if you were going to start a breathing space.
