For every 100 patients that receive tranexamic acid in this study there were 4 extra survivors at 6 months. There were approximately 4 extra patients who were categorised as having a severe disability. So it would appear that you know whilst improving mortality we might just be creating more survivors with poor functional recovery but is that still worth it? It's a tricky question to answer isn't it?
