There is a lot of traditionalism and doing things the way that it was always done in jujitsu. You can't kind of adopt a lot of habits that don't actually serve any purpose, but you're only just doing them because at some point someone else told you to do them. I try to keep avery constant eye on what i'm doing and why i'm doing it,. Is this something that actually is serving me and making me better? Or maybe is this something that was sensible for me to do when i was newer, but now that i'm more experienced, it actually doesn't make sense for me toDo this?
