The Power of the Written Narrative
Software developers tend to be really smart people, and a lot of them are quite creative. If I had to choose between having a serious engineer on a team or a product manager, I'd take this engineer. The written narrative is meant to force you to think. When you write out your reasoning, you can't hide behind a pretty slide.
