As a personal trainer, I started with a similar mindset that here's what real exercise is. And here is what real nutrition is, which is probably arguably even more harmful. So everyone had to get taught how to, you know, track macros. Everyone had to lift weights. We had to do so in all the appropriate planes with different rep ranges and do progressive overload. You know, everything that is a fundamental aspect of optimal improvements on paper, but that doesn't necessarily respect someone's personal preferences and the realities of their life. It could have been quite overwhelming for many people. That definitely prompted me to change my thinking towards how do I work myself out of a job.
