I don't find it easy to identify public figures, for example, for stoicism. The people that inspire me the most are recovering alcoholics or drug addicts who have hit rock bottom. They're anonymous individuals that live on council estates and small towns in Scotland and England. And they have an air of authenticity often about them - which celebrities and gurus lack many times.
In this episode, I answer questions about Stoicism, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), and emotional-resilience from Valentin Lehodey, a digital journalism student at the University of Strathclyde in Scotland.
