The Cost-Benefit Analysis of Noise Reduction
I haven't thought much about this problem, so I don't have crystallized thoughts. The question is whether there is any sensible way of quantifying the costs and the benefits in a system like that. Do you think on average boys should actually finish a year later than normal rather than a year earlier? It just reminds me of the fact that this may be dependent on culture and on time.
