What Is the Fawn Response to Threat?

The fawn response is an adaptation to being in a relationship context that regularly has threat in it. For survivors of child abuse or dysfunctional families where things were really not safe They're likely to develop a fawn response and take responsibility for it. People hypervigilantly worry about what they are going to say on social media because they don't know if it will get them into trouble. You have to totally swallow any disagreement that you might have but the way that you're being treated Um disturbing man. It's exactly the same kind of behavior that plays out An abusive relationships. The only appropriate response is to basically Totally collapse and be like, I'm sorry.
