When you don't talk about them in therapy, you just assume like this person thinks I'm crazy. And what you're sensing is people's discomfort. We interpret that discomfort as like, I'm making them uncomfortable. There's something wrong with me. But when it's a feeling like grief or loss, like you really need to look at it more as the people who who can't understand that are because they can't go there themselves.
