Our genes are like hardwired to compare relatively as opposed to objectively. And I think it's back to that same system that has beautiful people is TV actors on commercials for detergent. Often it's selling not only a false solution, like no detergent is going to make you happy. But it's also selling a false goal, which is like you can just be perfectly happy. You can be like the airbrush person on TV. It's most of social media. So it's really easy to get trapped in a cycle of comparing your reality to someone else's fake reality and then feeling bad about yours because it's not as good as their fake reality. We're in this upward spiral
