Self love is not indulgence. There are two parts of our brain. There's our lower brain and our higher brain. True self love is coming from the higher brain, not from the lower brain. When we're really judging that part of ourselves that wants to seek the pleasure, when we slip up and we fall into shame spirals because we're so angry at ourselves and judge ourselves.
