The Importance of Animal Protein in Muscle Growth
Animal protein provides a complete amino acid profile that is superior to plant proteins. Plant protein, on the other hand, lacks key essential amino acids for triggering and building muscle. The anti-animal protein community states that elevation of IGF-1 insulin-like growth factor is said to promote the growth of cancer due to animal protein consumption.
