A lot of people have confused distress tolerance and emotional avoidance, right? Like I'm so good at suppressing my feelings. And we need to build up here is the distress tolerance, like allowing feelings to exist in our bodies and separating that from our behavior. So typically, yeah, we'll talk about exactly that phrase, distress tolerance. We'll define that and then we will do exercises to build up distress tolerance.
