The Good Gives Being Truth and the Knower the Ability to Know

Re de sonaepter schene writes, logically, while the relative is in some sense opposed to the absolute, the absolute is not, in turn, opposed to the relative, but inclusive of it. Likewise, if being represents the intrinsic goodness of thing, then appearance is its relative goodness. In a word, the good simultaneously opens an absolute distinction between being and appearance and bridges that gap. It therefore unifies being and appearance without reducing them to one another. And this is how the true and the good and the beautiful are now all coming together.
