There was a study done on the UK bio bank where they looked at people with the higher red meat intake versus a little bit lower when, and in terms of saturated fat mainly. They found that when you corrected for BMI, there was no difference. The leaner you are and the closer to ideal body weight you are, you could probably get away with more saturated fat than your obese counterparts without question. And so I think that plays a crucial role as well.
