The key problem, i think, is lack of competition at the larger scale. Whenever we get a thing that just locks in and won't change, then we have much more problem. The main evidence that i would point to is seeing things behind the scenes about woke powers taking and exercising control in large areas of life. I hear tech people saying they can't work at tech firms unless they show sufficient loyalty to woke. In academia accreditationa using that to decide whether high schools and colleges can be accredited. So it's not making the news, but there is really a lot of movement behind the scenes in big ways whereby this is growing and taking a lot of control of a lot of things
