The Importance of Critical Inclusion
The state of California in the last election tried to remove the anti-discrimination language from its state constitution so that they could intentionally discriminate. Inclusion training at work is often going to be to get people to think in terms of these repressive tolerance double standards. Everything that goes along with what they're trying to achieve is tentatively okay until somebody's offended by it later, and everything that goes against their objectives must be repressed because it's dangerous or causes trauma. This way of thinking ultimately comes down to thinking about power dynamics and systemic power shaping everything.
