The Different Types of Salty Sweat

The physiology of sweating sweat comes from your blood plasma. Your blood plasma is very salty, 3,600 milligrams of sodium in every liter of sweat. If you don't sweat much, your net salt fluid losses are going to be low mine. A high sweat rate for some people can be as little as 500 millilitres or about 16 ounces an hour. On the higher end, we've seen athletes using three or four liters per hour.
