I feel a bit of a like I don't know maternal instinct towards my yeast when I was trying to keep it alive so that it would fill my fish tank with its farts so that the plants would grow. Too vigorous stirring is bad for the yeast too little stirring is good for the yeast and too much heat is bad for them.
