You should grill them with questions, what's the size of your fund? Where are you in your fund cycle? Are you raising a new fund soon? How many investments have you made? How many boards do you sit on? Ar you a g p? How do you make decisions? Is there an investment committee? Do you have competing investments in a similar space? What's average check size? The reason you want to ask these questions is it's going to give you substantially more information as to what and how they invest.
