Journalism is about doing things in a hurry, and mistakes happen because there's not enough time or resources. I noticed the war in ukraine was really undercovered by global english language news media. These were people coming in where they didn't necessarily have any kind of language skills or sort of cultural knowledge about the country. And i think actually one of those kind of journalism in a hurry. The power dynamics in the politics of this play out on very different levels. So you've got the top level decision making with metior organizations deciding what they're not going to tell us about, or selectively telling us about things for a particular end.
