The Differences Between American and British Barley Wines
There are some great barley wines being made by British brewers. Do you get any American barley wines over there or have had an experience with the American barley wines? I always like a little bit of age on them to get rid of the bitter. With an IPA, it's all you're looking for hop character in a barley wine. But providing that you're not getting too much sweetness in the beer, I can still work well.
