The Effects of Environmental Toxic Substances on Mitochondria
There's evidence that environmental toxins also cause mitochondrial dysfunction. And what I'm arguing is that it's probably a combination of all of these different toxic substances, both in the food supply and in our environment. If you if you poison your mitochondria, it's going to disrupt how hungry you are so that you're going to be more likely to overeat. It's also affecting your brain function, and you are now more likely to suffer from depression or anxiety or even bipolar disorder or schizophrenia.
