How Much Air Can You Breathe Out in One Second?
Respiratory technologists are looking for how much air you can breathe out in one second. F e v stands for, again, forced expiratory volume. We're interested in f e v one as a measure of resistance to air flow. The higher the f e b one, the less resistance, and the more you can breathing out.
